Although it recently confirmed 12 pairs as part of the Jordan Brand Summer 2021 retro collection, NIKE, Inc. has left some hidden releases. Among them, Air Jordan 5 Low coated with “Black / Metallic Gold”, which just appeared via an unofficial mock-up.
Although the end product tends to be different, the early depictions of Jordan’s most low-key depict a nubuck upper. Lace guards and mesh details in the profile follow suit, but the blade switch and tongue top provide a striking “Gold Metallic” contrast. The heels of this pair are not featured in the image, but the Jumpman logo will most likely feature the Jumpman logo in the same shimmery color, given the shark tooth accent on the indulgent midsole in this color. Lastly, the rest of the unit returns to a “Black” aesthetic, but some tread across the outsole might introduce a semi-transparent, “smokey” flair to the mix.
